Inspirational Quotes on Abundance

Whatever we are waiting for – peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance – it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart.

Sarah Ban Breathnach

If you can dream it, you can do it.

Walt Disney

Love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got. love it with a passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it.
Maya Angelou

Your most precious, valued possessions and your greatest powers are invisible and intangible. No one can take them. You, and you alone, can give them. You will receive abundance for your giving.
W. Clement Stone

Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

It Couldn’t Be Done
With a slant toward An Abundant Woman…
Somebody said that it couldn’t be done
But she with a chuckle repliedThat “maybe it couldn’t,” but she would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till she’d tried.
So she buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On her face. If she worried she hid it.
She started to sing as she tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and she did it!
Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never do that;
At least no one ever has done it;”
But she took off her coat and she took off her scarf
And the first thing we knew she’d begun it.
With a lift of her chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
She started to sing as she tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and she did it.
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure,
There are thousands to point out to you one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin,
Just take off your coat and go to it;
Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing
That “cannot be done,” and you’ll do it.
EDGAR ALBERT GUEST

 Not what we have but what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance.
~ Epicurus

The greatest achievement in life is to have the ability to create the world around you, so that it matches the dreams in your mind.

Mike Dillard

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Frank Herbert

The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything!

Zig Ziglar

Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself,

and know that everything in life has purpose.

There are no mistakes, no coincidences.

All events are blessings given to us to learn from.

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.

Winston Churchill

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

      I truly understand that Marcia! Abundance is a state of mind. If you include wealth and material things, then it does become a part of your abundant life, but your life should not be considered abundant by what you have or own, but how you feel.

    I can certainly relate to “Love life, engage in it, give it all you’ve got. love it with a passion, because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it”. I get so much fulfillment out of working hard, having fun with friends, and enjoying my family. Everything is a gift. We all must respect and inspire one another.

      Matt, I really enjoyed your comments! We certainly do need to love life and be engaged in it. We’re here for such a short time. I could not imagine not enjoying and loving what we’ve got while we’re here. The more we love life, the more life gives us to love. Thank you for your insight!
      Best wishes for your abundance,

    Some really inspirational quotes here that really make you look at things from a different point of view. I particularly like the Frank Herbert section with regards to fear. Fear can be used as a great way to move forward and can also be a hindrance. It is how we perceive things and the frame of mind we are in as to how things can evolve.

    Great words and a great website.

    Thanks

      Thanks Chris. Yes, when there is fear, it takes courage to keep moving forward. Your frame of mind is so very important to continue growing and improving your life.
      To your abundance!
