Beginning Again!

Hi! I'm Margot!

Hi! I’m Margot!

In June of 2014, I joined a very interesting and knowledgeable group of people called Wealthy Affiliates. The group is made of people wanting to learn about making a profit on the internet. The lessons on the site were thorough and insightful. I learned how to build and publish a website on the internet! I did so and kept up with posting thoughts and ideas for a few months. Life, somehow, got in the way and I found myself so busy and distracted with other things, I lost my way and failed to continue the blog.

This past week, I’ve spent some time considering my life and what I thought was important. Spending the time researching my interests and recording my thoughts on them in a blog on my website IS important to me. Some people may think my blogs just a lot of rambling, but I know putting my thoughts down in a blog is cathartic.

I hope my blogs can benefit others and help them consider life and how they may help others live a fruitful life. I plan on beginning again writing thoughts and ideas, and sharing with others through the blogs on my website.

To Your Abundance!

A Tribute to Dr. Wayne Dyer from an Abundant Woman

Dr. Wayne Dyer, born May 10, 1940, was a spiritual and self-help icon. He was the best-selling author of more than 30 self-help and spiritual books, Your Erroneous Zone, a highly motivational speaker and an inspiration for millions of people.

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Dr. Dyer spent his childhood (until the age of 10) in an orphanage, then was taken into a foster home, where he was raised and loved. One day as a child, Wayne Dyer returned home from school, upset because he overheard his teacher calling him a “scurvy elephant.” When he shared this concern with his foster mother, she called the teacher who said, “Oh, that Wayne! He’s always getting things wrong. I didn’t call him a scurvy elephant. I said he was a disturbing element!

He went on to serve in the Navy for 4 years (1958-1962), then graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in counseling.

He began his career as a high school guidance counselor there and as a professor of counselor education at St. Johns University in New York City. His lectures focused on motivational speaking and positive thinking. The theories he discussed are what make up the content of his first book, Your Erroneous Zone, which was published in 1976. It is one of the best-selling books of all time, with approximately 35 million copies sold worldwide.

“Truly inspiring leaders get results by their own example: They encourage others to be responsible and do the right thing…they create space for others to be inspired and to achieve their own greatness.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer

It is at this time, Dr. Dyer quit teaching and began his career as a motivational speaker and writer. He also helped raise millions of dollars with lectures for PBS.

“There’s no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer

The context of Dr. Dyer’s books and lectures reflected the ideals of the New Thought movement, which promotes the belief that spirit is in and of all things, Infinite Intelligence (God) is everywhere, in everything and true human selfhood is divine; that divine thought is the power behind all that is good, and sickness originates in the mind where “wrong thinking” while “right thinking” promotes healing.

Dr. Wayne Dyer

To his followers, Dr. Dyer promoted self-actualization, explaining reliance on the self is a guide to religious experience and advised people to emulate Jesus who he felt was a self-actualized person who relied on self-reliance. Self-actualization is the achievement of one’s full potential through creativity, independence, spontaneity, and a grasp of the real world.

“Self-actualized people are independent of the good opinion of others…Be a scurvy elephant.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer

During the 90’s, Dr. Dyer began turning the context of his books and lectures toward spirituality and received an even larger following.

Dr. Dyer passed away August 30, 2015 from a heart attack, at age 75. He had been diagnosed with leukemia in 2009, but always stated he could eliminate it from his body. The coroner confirmed that there was no trace of the leukemia.

He was a true inspiration and will be sorely missed.

Procrastination and Fear When Writing of Success as an Abundant Woman

“You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.” – Abraham Lincoln

I would like to say that I used to be, but know I still feel at times I am, the Queen of Procrastination when writing for success, and I can’t say I’ve completely hung up the crown quite yet.

What is Procrastination?

Procrastination is the practice of carrying out less urgent tasks in preference to more urgent ones, or doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time, sometimes to the “last minute” before a deadline. Oh man, am I good at that!

Why Do People Procrastinate?

Why do people procrastinate? Laziness is not the main reason people procrastinate. I believe in my case, with this blog, it all has to do with self confidence. For many years, I was put down and ridiculed because of my size and my non-mainstream thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

Now or Later

Now or Later

As I grew older, I was told by teachers and professors that I was creative with some unique ideas and an ability to write with flair. Somehow the latter seemed to go in one ear and out the other. I suppose that is because the ridicule came first and lasted the longest, having lived with it for many years.

So the procrastination concerning writing is not because I do not enjoy writing and sharing thoughts and beliefs, but because of feeling the old fears of ridicule, rejection and failure.

Fears of Ridicule and Rejection

The most common fears that we experience, which often sabotage all hope for success, are the fears of ridicule, rejection and failure. People fear ridicule, rejection and criticism of any kind. These fears can hold us back throughout our lives if we let them.

What Do You Do To Deal With Procrastination?

What Shonda Rhimes has said, with a few extra thoughts of my own interspersed…..Open your eyes, take a good look around you. Look at your life. How’s the view? Do you like what you see? Have you been missing out on everything in your life? Do you keep putting off what you could accomplish and share with the world?

procrastinating cat

procrastinating cat

Think back to when you were little. Are you living the life you pictured for yourself, or are you thinking of something even bigger? Do you wish it was something bigger? If it’s not working, quit whining to yourself about what it could be. Shut up and fix it! Open up your heart and mind, share it with the world! What you have to say is important. There is nothing more important for you than to become really good at the art and science of expressing yourself in words to other people. Make a difference!

The Law of Reversibility says that “if you feel a certain way, you will act in a manner consistent with that feeling.” However, if you act in a way that is consistent with that feeling, even if you don’t feel it, the Law of Reversibility will create the feeling that is consistent with your actions.
In the social sciences it’s said that it takes approximately 21 days to form a new habit. That’s true for the most part, especially if you are trying to create that habit through a rigid structure of logical self discipline. There are other ways which utilize the power of the subconscious so it starts working for you and your goals, which in my case is confidence and courage.

Creative Visualization To See Yourself as Unafraid

Creative visualization is a technique in which you use your imagination to create what you want in your life. With creative visualization, you use your imagination to create a clear image, idea, or feeling of what it is you wish to manifest. You continue to focus on the image, idea or feeling regularly, giving it positive energy until it becomes objective reality … in other words, until you actually achieve what you have been imagining. By visualizing yourself acting, speaking and writing with confidence and competence in an area where you are fearful, your visual image will eventually be accepted by your subconscious mind. The way you see yourself and think about yourself, is eventually altered by visualizing these positive mental pictures.

Lisa Nichols is the CEO of Motivating the Masses, one of the top training and development companies in the world, a best-selling author of 6 books and one of the most sought-after transformational speakers whose global platform has reached and served millions. Ms. Nichols’ amazing story of transforming her own life from a struggling single mom on public assistance from South Central Los Angeles to a millionaire Entrepreneur is the inspiration behind her bold mission to teach others that it is possible to do the same. On Wednesday evenings at 6pm PST, you can join an online session with Lisa Nichols. Learn how to reprogram your subconscious beliefs with the latest cutting-edge science, so you remove one of the deepest-rooted barriers to your success.

Hypnotism for Dealing with Fear & Procrastination

Hypnosis is used to utilize a person’s subconscious to enable them to create new habits or behaviors and change their perspective on life. If you internalize a new view of yourself, you automatically change your behavior to line up with this new perspective.

How you view yourself is largely an automatic process controlled by the subconscious. If you can change that, then creating new habits becomes much easier for you.

Your conscious mind doesn’t like change and will want to talk you out of changing. If you can get those suggestions into your subconscious mind without the judgements of the conscious mind, you can change from being a procrastinator to being a successful achiever.

Hypnosis is stronger than willpower because it put the suggestions straight into your subconscious. By the time your conscious mind is aware of the suggestions, they will have been accepted by your subconscious already, so the judgmental self talk by the conscious mind will not be an issue.

Hypnosis is an effective and lasting way to overcome procrastination. If you are unable to go to a hypnotist, Dr. Steven G. Jones has some excellent audios for self hypnosis. His self hypnosis audio to alleviate procrastination can be found here.

An Abundant Woman’s Tale – You CAN Create Abundance!

This is a true story of one woman’s experience, I’ll call her Milly, on attracting and manifesting abundance into her family’s life. I still get a huge smile on my face when I think of how it all came about.

Milly has been involved in spirituality and the Law of Attraction since quite awhile before the hit movie “The Secret” was released. She just didn’t understand how it all fit together, or whether it even did fit.

The Secret

The Secret

It was after she watched the movie, along with quite a few videos recorded shortly after the movie, and read a few books, both new and old, on the subject; that she finally felt she had a grasp on how the Law of Attraction worked. She began to notice incidences and coincidences around her that were obvious examples of the Law of Attraction at work.

Although she knew it worked, she couldn’t seem to figure out what she was or wasn’t doing that kept her wishes and intentions from manifesting. She made a vision board as advised in the movie, along with writing her wishes and intentions, visualizing them and then letting them go so as not to become attached to them.  She worked hard to overcome limiting beliefs, became and stayed grateful for what she had, opened herself to receiving graciously…and still nothing.

Learn More and Apply

She took classes and courses, read books and watched videos on the Law of Attraction, hypnotism, meditation, visualization, the power of prayer and life coaching. As time went on, the literature, videos and training on these aspects became more refined and specialized.

Milly finally began to manifest small things into her life….a parking space close to the door of the store, a specific hotel room when going on vacation, a sale on a specific item for which she wouldn’t pay full retail. She came across a book last November, “E-Squared: Nine Do-It-Yourself Energy Experiments That Prove Your Thoughts Create Your Reality” by Pam Grout. She didn’t start reading it until 3 0r 4 months after the holidays.

The book consisted of 9 different experiments to try for noticing, attracting and manifesting people, items, events and money. They started out small and became larger and more complex as the experiments progressed. She went through some the experiments, and actually had success with each experiment performed. After about 4, she decided she was going to try to manifest some money herself.

Writing Your Intention

She sat down and wrote out what she wanted to attract     and manifest, “I am so happy and grateful that we have an additional $x,000 income this year.” As she had been working on a website, wanting to earn some extra money for her family by helping others, which was her passion; she hoped that she would be earning that amount of money by the end of 12 months.

Write intention

Write intention

After writing down her affirmation, she let it go, keeping no attachment to it, as she had learned when taking the courses on the Law of Attraction. And so, a few months passed with nothing really happening on her website. She continued working on it, taking more courses and began building her clientele, with more money going out than coming in at that point.

While all this was going on with her courses and website, things were happening at her husband’s company. I’ll call him Bob. The management had decided to create a new position and asked Bob if he would be interested in a promotion into this position. Although he was the person who told them they really needed to create this position, he had also initially told them he wasn’t interested, thinking he would be getting more headaches than he already had.

From Whence it Comes

Well, the company created the position and asked Bob to apply for it; which, after some deep thought and soul searching, he did. When they offered him the job, they told him he would be getting a raise of $x,000, which was the exact amount she had written in her manifestation intention.

Money

Money

What I find funny is it took a month before Milly realized Bob’s raise was the same amount she had written. On the day she finally realized what had happened, she was watching a short video on the Law of Attraction and manifesting. She was almost finished with the video when she finally realized the manifestation intention she had written a few months before had happened!

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, you might find it funny to know that my husband and I are Bob and Milly. And that is how I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that you CAN attract and create abundance!

Attaining an Attitude of Abundance and Affluence

A Word On The Woowoo

What I’m about to discuss now may seem a bit metaphysical, and I suppose it is to anyone not acquainted with these practices. I only ask that you keep an open mind as we go through these.

I’m going to list three different practices you can use to attract affluence and abundance into your life. These don’t follow the norm of what you may have heard when it comes to the Law of Attraction. They were shared by Bert Goldman, the American Monk, who also introduced Quantum Jumping, which I’ll explain in another post.

1. – Awareness of Your Actions

Awareness

Awareness

In the evening, just prior to going to bed, go over the events of the day. Ask yourself what you did that day that you would rather have done differently. What did you do that day that was wrong?  What did you do that you could have done better?

Going over these events, you may find that there were quite a few things that you could have done better, differently; possibly as many as ten to twenty or more. By doing this, you become more aware of yourself, of the things that other people see in you that perhaps you don’t see when you look in the mirror. Do this for a week or two.

Self Sabotage & Limiting Factors

What does this have to do with attaining an attitude of abundance? It all has to do with self sabotage, which I’ve spoken of in a previous post. When you do something that is wrong, or not to the best of your ability, there is a little measure of guilt that comes in.

You may feel you want to repeat the act correctly, or as it should have been done; but, if you don’t admit you’ve done anything wrong, then there’s nothing to repeat. In other words, it festers in your inner conscience. It chews away and causes a great deal of limiting factors in your life.

When you feel you’re limited in some aspect of your life, then you feel you only deserve so much. For example if you feel limited in relationships, then you feel you only deserve so many friends and these friendships will only be so fulfilling.

If you feel limited in wealth, then you only feel you deserve to be in a certain income bracket. If you make more than what you feel you deserve, it somehow gets lost or squandered until you’re back in the area of income in which you are comfortable or feel you deserve to be.

Keep Up the Practice

Limitations cause people so many problems in the areas of health, wealth, relationships and a myriad of other aspects of life. After you have been using this self awareness practice awhile, you’ll get to a point where it will be a few days when there isn’t anything you would have done differently or better. When you get to this point, then you’re ready for the next step to attaining an attitude of abundance.

2. – Activating Your Internal Electromagnet

This is a simple process. You tense your shoulders, neck and head slightly; then, just close your eyes.  Keep everything from the shoulders up slightly tensed, almost to the point you can feel yourself quivering.  As I said, it’s a simple process.

Attracting Abundance With Electromagnetism

Once you’ve activated your electromagnet, you are able to begin attracting the abundance you want into your life. With your eyes still closed and your electromagnet still activated, visualize what it is you are wanting to attract for a few minutes; then, just let it loose. Do this a few times a day.

3. – The Rhythm of Abundance

Rhythm

Rhythm

Every aspect of life has its own flow or rhythm, and abundance is no different. Here is an example of what I mean. There’s the story you hear about wealth or poverty consciousness. You give a million dollars to a person with a poverty consciousness; and, within a year, that person will not have any of the money left.

Adversely, If you take a million dollars away from a person with a wealth consciousness, that person will have gotten that money back within a year or so.  A person with a wealth or poverty consciousness has a certain energy or rhythm to their consciousness.

Learning Your Rhythms

One way of finding your rhythms is with the thought of food. First, think of a food you really enjoy. Begin tapping a rhythm with your hand, whatever feels right, on your chest, your thigh, the table. Become aware of this rhythm. Next, think of a food that you really do not like at all. Tap a rhythm while thinking of that food. You’ll probably find that the rhythm is slower when tapping on what you dislike.

Another way, and one that you will probably appreciate more for the use you want, is to tap your rhythm while remembering a time when you had a lot of money, even if it was just for a day or so, or when you really felt affluent. Also, learn your rhythm for when you didn’t have any money or abundance of what it is you are wanting.

Once you have these rhythms established, make a practice each morning of tapping your rhythm for abundance for about 30 to 60 seconds. You can do this more than once a day; but, you should refrain doing so before bedtime since your sleeping state is yet another rhythm.

A Message For the Skeptic

skeptic woman

skeptic woman

Even if you are skeptical, give these practices a try. Do them for a few weeks and see what happens. You may be pleasantly surprised. When you stop and think about it, what do you have to lose? After a few weeks, ask yourself….does it work? If it does, then you’ve found new ways to attract affluence and abundance!

Journaling to Overcome Self Limiting Beliefs

Identifying Self Limiting Beliefs

In my previous post “Sabotage of the Subconscious Mind of an Abundant Woman”, I discussed some of the self limiting beliefs we have all accumulated throughout our lives… I’m inadequate, I’m worthless, I’m defective, I’m unattractive, I’m a loser, I’m a failure.  And those are but a few that we have become buried in our psyches.  The trick is to really pay attention to your thoughts and feelings throughout your day.

Limiting beliefs are very powerful. You’ve had them, thought them, felt them for years.  From the time you first experience life, you are inundated with the self limiting beliefs of your parents, grandparents, extended family and friends, your culture and religion.  The more you think of them, the more  energy you give them. The more energy you give them, the more they hold you back from having the abundant, joyful life you deserve.

Your beliefs become your reality.  You will always find evidence to support your beliefs, and to have them become your reality.Your feelings are the perfect tool for identifying these self limiting beliefs you may not even realize you have.  You need to be sure to check in with yourself, ask yourself what you are feeling and why.  Don’t fight the feelings, but observe them.  Any negative feelings you are having lead back to self limiting beliefs.

Understanding Limiting Beliefs

Following is a short list of what self limiting beliefs consist of.  What others can you think of

  • Excuses
  • Justifications
  • Worries
  • Beliefs conditioned from religion, culture or family
  • Negative thought patterns
  • Perfectionist thinking
  • Past failures
  • Fears

Journaling Can Help

Journaling

Journaling

Journaling is a very good habit to start.  It’s a great way to get inside your own head, to write down the thoughts and feelings you have.  Start with a goal, a dream or desire.  Write down everything that comes to you,  whether positive or negative.

Be brutally honest with yourself.  Once you have written until you can write no more, go back and find the negative thoughts and feelings.  Pay attention to any patterns you may see.

Overcoming Self Limiting Beliefs

  • Don’t allow yourself to be defined by these beliefs
  • Choose to stop agreeing with the limiting beliefs
  • Question all of the conclusions you have about what you think to be true
  • Take some kind of action to test your assumptions
  • Spend time integrating a new, empowering belief

Sometimes, it can be just that simple.  The biggest hurdle of all will be remembering what you’ve been allowing yourself to believe all these years, and maintaining the new beliefs you wish to put into place.  When you finally realize you have ingrained these positive and empowering beliefs into your daily life, you will begin noticing all the abundant aspects that have been there all along, waiting for you to acknowledge. How many self limiting beliefs have you been holding onto all these years?

Living Abundantly by Giving Abundantly

Far too many people pursuing a life of abundance through the Law of Attraction are doing so for purely selfish reasons.  I will be the first to admit, I began this journey with the LOA largely because of what I could get out of it.  Although I have always wanted to be able to help others, I sought a life of abundance to fill a void. My largest concern was how to make my life more comfortable; mainly, so I could find more enjoyment and fulfillment relationally and materialistically.  I didn’t completely ignore the spiritual aspects of it all, but it was not anywhere near the top of my list.

As I began this new journey though, I was forced to look inward to find the true source of discontent. That’s when I realized the times I was happiest and most fulfilled were the times I knew I had helped others in pursuing their lives of fulfillment. This is not the type of help in which one loses themselves and their sense of self in the process, but of giving that of which they have an abundance. In return, even more abundance is returned.

Giving of Yourself Abundantly

Giving abundantly can take many forms, from the smallest gesture to the largest commitment.  Giving of yourself and what you have brings a glow to your heart.

Glowing Heart

Glowing Heart

Did you smile and thank the cashier and bagger at the grocery?  Did you allow the car in the next lane to merge in front of you?   When was the last time you visited a retirement home, or have you ever?  Have you considered donating time to Meals on Wheels?  If you belong to a church, are you active in their charitable events?  Do you donate clothes or furniture, or do you find it easier to set it all out with the trash pick-up?

I do not have the ability to drive anywhere at any time, but I found I could give my support through an online prayer group.  Even though I am not a religious person, it matters not.  I believe there is a higher power.  Call it God, The Divine, The Universe…prayers, thoughts and intentions are sent, received and answered. There are over 100,000 members in this prayer group.  Can you imagine the effect those prayers have?  Reading some of the messages of thanks brings tears to my eyes.

It Doesn’t Take Much Money to Make a Difference

When I began donating, I couldn’t afford much.  I found that with a few dollars, I could put a Thanksgiving dinner on a family’s table.  I could help feed the homeless that went to a church or shelter for a hot meal on a cold night.

Have you donated money to any charities – international, national or local?  Do you drop your extra change in the Salvation Army bucket during the holidays?  Do you buy those little flags from the AmVets table when it is set up outside the grocery store?  How about supporting the Red Cross when disaster strikes…or before is even better.   There are SO many legitimate charities, from local to international.  Chose one or two, if that’s all you can afford, more if you can do so.  Your heart will truly glow, knowing you are doing what you can to help those less fortunate than you.

Any sort of giving is the perfect way to make you more grateful for what you have.  It will truly make you feel abundant.  And, when giving unconditionally starts to bring more abundance into your life as a way of thanking you, share more.  The cycle has begun, and you will surely be a better, more abundant woman for the giving of yourself and what you have to share.

What have you shared, contributed or donated lately?  Didn’t it make you feel wonderful about doing so?  Share you stories. I would love to read them.

Sabotage of the Subconscious Mind of an Abundant Woman

You try, you want, you desire, you meditate…..and yet it seems as if you’re stuck, going nowhere fast.  Could it be your subconscious mind is being sabotaged by thoughts and feelings of which you’re not even aware? The subconscious mind has accumulated years of habitual programming that goes on without you even consciously thinking about it.  Memories of negative experiences program you  to identify with negative “self beliefs” such as I’m inadequate, I’m worthless, I’m defective, I’m unattractive, I’m a loser, I’m a failure.  Those types of negative beliefs behave like “set points” that trigger automatic self destructive actions and thoughts that inevitably become self-fulfilling prophecies.  So, we’ve been told that if we practice positive affirmations,  we will attract positive results through the law of attraction.  Although, this is correct, if our affirmations are only rattling around in our conscious minds, what does that say of what is happening in the subconscious?  Your subconscious mind may be limiting and sabotaging you in ways that you do not even realize.

How Can You Overcome Sabotage of the Subconscious Mind?

Tension

Tension

Through practices such as meditation, yoga, or hypnosis, you will learn to develop mindfulness and an ability to live  your life consciously.  With these practices, you will  learn to observe events happening in your life consciously instead of them happening “to” you without your awareness.  You will begin to act consciously,  instead of reacting unconsciously. What you used to automatically respond to without thought, you’ll begin to notice as a negative or positive trigger of response.  Those negative triggers can then be dealt with, and old responses can be transformed into new thoughts and ideas. Those limiting beliefs can be transformed into new, positive ideals, which can then be incorporated into your meditations or self-hypnosis (which will be covered in another post).  The positive affirmations which were originally only found in the conscious mind can now be transformed into new and positive subconscious thoughts and feelings.

Remember to always keep your thoughts and feelings in your awareness and abolish anything negative that creeps in before it becomes something that encourages any sort if sabotage of your subconscious mind.

Creative Visualization for Abundance and Success

By Margot Huff – When it comes to abundance, creative visualization is so very important.  Without it, being able to attract abundance into your life is practically impossible.  Creative visualization can help you improve any area of your life with which you feel needs improvement.  You will have, do and be better at anything you visualize.  You’ll attract new, inspiring people and opportunities into your life. This really is a life changing practice….and it starts with your imagination

Creative visualization is using your imagination to visualize the life you want to create. There is nothing new or unusual about creative visualization. You already use it daily; in fact, every minute of every day. It is the power of imagination, the basic creative energy of the universe, which you use constantly, whether consciously or not.  In the past, we have all unconsciously used our power of creative visualization.  Because of the negative concepts about life which have been ingrained in us since childhood, we have automatically and unconsciously expected and imagined lack, limitation and difficulties to be a big part of life; and that is exactly what we have created for ourselves.girlmeditatingonthesunset_0

The Difference Between Daydreams and Creative Visualization

When you daydream, you are experiencing pleasant visionary distraction of the mind; a  mild, wishful creation of the imagination, a pleasant fantasy, and that is as far as it goes. Comparing a daydream to creative visualization is like comparing a fluffy little kitten to a fierce lioness. Creative visualization goes so much further.  With creative visualization, you need to completely immerse yourself into this projection from the imagination and infuse it with positive emotions.  As with meditation, you should find a quiet place away from all distractions.  Once you have the visualization in your mind, include as much sensual vibrancy as you can.  See the deep blue sky, hear the birds chirping, smell the orange blossom, feel the soft grass beneath your feet.  The most important of this visualization – infuse it with deep, positive emotions.

With  your imagination, you can “rewire” your subconscious to help you become happier, healthier, more creative,  abundant and confident;  or achieve almost any other goal  for which you aim.  Your subconscious mind is so powerful, it can help you live the life you’ve always wanted — a fulfilling life  with success, happiness, excitement and so much natural motivation that you jump out of bed every morning, thrilled to be alive, and revitalized by the inspiration of achieving your biggest dreams…  abundant dreams that you deserve.

How Creative Visualization Works

There have been over 200 studies showing that visualization improves everything from your memory to physical skills and productivity…and that’s just the start.  Because the use of you imagination “feels” real to your nervous system, creative visualization works quickly to impact you at the subconscious level.  What that means is that you can use it to intentionally and effectively improve any and all areas of your life.

Success and Abundance with Creative Visualization

Creative visualization can help you improve any area of your life.  It can help you attract the experiences and success you need to achieve abundance, even if you seem to attract lack and scarcity, or sabotage your efforts to improve your life.  It will help you attain enormous gains in abundance and success.  And it’s so much easier than you could ever imagine!

Have you used creative visualization in your life?  What positive and abundant successes have you had with it?  How do you feel it can be used to make your life more abundant? Leave a comment below and share your experiences.

As I Dream of a Life of Abundance

By Margot Huff – Another day…another dream! I just woke from a nap. Lo’ and behold!  I remember another dream of abundance I have had, which doesn’t happen often…at least not until recently. Maybe, it’s because of my concentration on my ideal of abundance and what it means to me.

What type of Abundance do You Dream of?

Many of us have been engaging in a tremendous amount of concentration on abundance in the past few years; whether it’s dreams, meditation or hypnosis. What does it mean to each of us? For some, it has to do with spiritual abundance; for others, it means financial; And yet, others concentrate on abundant health or relationships. I would dream, concentrate on and wish for an abundant life which encompasses all aspects of life – spiritual, financial, health, relationships.

Spiritual Abundance

Prayer

Prayer

Is there a spiritual emptiness inside of you that you just can’t seem fill? Is there something missing in your relationship with God, Spirit, the Universe?  If you can see yourself right now in any of this, just know these feelings are not unique to you.  These feelings are experienced by most, if not all of us, at one time or another. Taking some time each day to quiet your mind will help tremendously in this area. And always, always remember to be grateful for your life. The more you are grateful, the more you’ll attract in your life for which to be grateful.

Financial Abundance

Money

Money

Who doesn’t want to earn enough money to have at least the creature comforts in life? Who doesn’t want to earn much more? I do! I love going away for long weekends, and would like to do it more often.  I would love to have a mountain home and a beach home. I love the thought of being able to help family and friends in financial need. I would love to be able to donate a significant amount of money to charities of my choice. No matter your financial status now, always, always remember to be grateful for the money you do have. The more you are grateful, the more you’ll attract ways to earn more money for which to be grateful.

Abundant Health

Healthy

Healthy

“Eat healthily, sleep well, breathe deeply, move harmoniously.”   Jean-Pierre Barral

Abundant health is such an important factor in the life of an abundant woman, the lack of which can seriously impact the joy of living…. Need I say more?   This is one aspect of abundance in which I find have especially asked for help from God, Spirit, the Universe.  Having been diagnosed with diabetes, degenerative disc disorder, severe depression, sciatica, chronic tendonitis, fibromyalgia and chronic pain, just to name a few, I was being overmedicated and lived in a fog for a few years. I finally took matters away from the doctors and put them in my own hands. I am happy to say I  now have my diabetes under control with diet alone, have weaned myself off of antidepressants, muscle relaxers and four other medications.  Although I may not be the poster child for perfect health, I am feeling better and younger than I have in a  very long time and plan on continuing self improvement until the day I can once again become gainfully employed and give my disability income back to the government.  I am so very grateful for my improved health and disposition. No matter your health situation, be grateful for the positive aspects of being alive and breathing. The more you are grateful, the more good health you’ll attract for which to be grateful.

Abundant Relationships

Relationship

Relationship

After 31 years, I am very fortunate to have a husband who still loves me passionately. I have In-laws who are the best.  I am blessed with good friends and a loving family.  Do not think  it all comes easy.  As anyone with good, strong relationships knows, it takes work and perseverance  to make any relationship work.  And there are always bumps in the road.  To maintain an abundant relationship, it is so very important to acknowledge the positive aspects of the other person, and focus on those more than anything. Everyone has some negative pieces in their personalities.  To recognize them and accept the person as they are is the key component to keeping the relationship strong and thriving.  Remember, as they have negative aspects to their personalities, you also do; and those that love you accept these. So, be grateful for your friends and loved ones. The more you are grateful, the more abundant relationships you will attract into your life for which to be grateful.

Blessings,
