What I’m about to discuss now may seem a bit metaphysical, and I suppose it is to anyone not acquainted with these practices. I only ask that you keep an open mind as we go through these.
I’m going to list three different practices you can use to attract affluence and abundance into your life. These don’t follow the norm of what you may have heard when it comes to the Law of Attraction. They were shared by Bert Goldman, the American Monk, who also introduced Quantum Jumping, which I’ll explain in another post.
1. – Awareness of Your Actions
In the evening, just prior to going to bed, go over the events of the day. Ask yourself what you did that day that you would rather have done differently. What did you do that day that was wrong? What did you do that you could have done better?
Going over these events, you may find that there were quite a few things that you could have done better, differently; possibly as many as ten to twenty or more. By doing this, you become more aware of yourself, of the things that other people see in you that perhaps you don’t see when you look in the mirror. Do this for a week or two.
Self Sabotage & Limiting Factors
What does this have to do with attaining an attitude of abundance? It all has to do with self sabotage, which I’ve spoken of in a previous post. When you do something that is wrong, or not to the best of your ability, there is a little measure of guilt that comes in.
You may feel you want to repeat the act correctly, or as it should have been done; but, if you don’t admit you’ve done anything wrong, then there’s nothing to repeat. In other words, it festers in your inner conscience. It chews away and causes a great deal of limiting factors in your life.
When you feel you’re limited in some aspect of your life, then you feel you only deserve so much. For example if you feel limited in relationships, then you feel you only deserve so many friends and these friendships will only be so fulfilling.
If you feel limited in wealth, then you only feel you deserve to be in a certain income bracket. If you make more than what you feel you deserve, it somehow gets lost or squandered until you’re back in the area of income in which you are comfortable or feel you deserve to be.
Keep Up the Practice
Limitations cause people so many problems in the areas of health, wealth, relationships and a myriad of other aspects of life. After you have been using this self awareness practice awhile, you’ll get to a point where it will be a few days when there isn’t anything you would have done differently or better. When you get to this point, then you’re ready for the next step to attaining an attitude of abundance.
2. – Activating Your Internal Electromagnet
This is a simple process. You tense your shoulders, neck and head slightly; then, just close your eyes. Keep everything from the shoulders up slightly tensed, almost to the point you can feel yourself quivering. As I said, it’s a simple process.
Attracting Abundance With Electromagnetism
Once you’ve activated your electromagnet, you are able to begin attracting the abundance you want into your life. With your eyes still closed and your electromagnet still activated, visualize what it is you are wanting to attract for a few minutes; then, just let it loose. Do this a few times a day.
3. – The Rhythm of Abundance
Every aspect of life has its own flow or rhythm, and abundance is no different. Here is an example of what I mean. There’s the story you hear about wealth or poverty consciousness. You give a million dollars to a person with a poverty consciousness; and, within a year, that person will not have any of the money left.
Adversely, If you take a million dollars away from a person with a wealth consciousness, that person will have gotten that money back within a year or so. A person with a wealth or poverty consciousness has a certain energy or rhythm to their consciousness.
Learning Your Rhythms
One way of finding your rhythms is with the thought of food. First, think of a food you really enjoy. Begin tapping a rhythm with your hand, whatever feels right, on your chest, your thigh, the table. Become aware of this rhythm. Next, think of a food that you really do not like at all. Tap a rhythm while thinking of that food. You’ll probably find that the rhythm is slower when tapping on what you dislike.
Another way, and one that you will probably appreciate more for the use you want, is to tap your rhythm while remembering a time when you had a lot of money, even if it was just for a day or so, or when you really felt affluent. Also, learn your rhythm for when you didn’t have any money or abundance of what it is you are wanting.
Once you have these rhythms established, make a practice each morning of tapping your rhythm for abundance for about 30 to 60 seconds. You can do this more than once a day; but, you should refrain doing so before bedtime since your sleeping state is yet another rhythm.
A Message For the Skeptic
Even if you are skeptical, give these practices a try. Do them for a few weeks and see what happens. You may be pleasantly surprised. When you stop and think about it, what do you have to lose? After a few weeks, ask yourself….does it work? If it does, then you’ve found new ways to attract affluence and abundance!
