About Margot

Hello my friends! My name is Margot, and I’m in the middle of my journey toward becoming an abundant woman at the young age of 58! I’ve spent many years reading and learning about different spiritual practices, but have always felt there has been something missing in my life, as if I needed to find something that I could connect to that would allow me to help others in their search for fulfillment and abundance.Picture of Margot

In my teens and 20’s, I was reading Carlos Castaneda & learning about Native American quests while having friends and acquaintances come to me for advice and assistance in their search for fulfillment with spirituality, relationships and personal abundance. I believe and hope I was able to be very helpful.

When I reached my 30’s, I found the Dalai Lama, Wayne Dyer, deeper spirituality and meditation; and I read a lot more…while still searching for ways to help others achieve their goals for personal enlightenment, fulfillment and abundance.

Reaching my 40’s, I read Neale Donald Walsch, Seth, Alexander Hicks. I even had a taste of the Wiccan life…and so on, and so on, while still wanting to help others find peace and abundance in their lives as I searched for the same.

Then came my 50’s, and the movement from the “Law Of Attraction” and the search for abundance. I read and watched movies and videos. Thank God for my PC and Kindle. If it had not been for them, we wouldn’t have room in the house for all the books and videos I’ve been through!  And yet, I still found the time to help others find their passion and acceptance of life and what would help would bring them joy and love.

Then the “AHA”!!

Through all the years of books and movies and videos, and even training, I never really became deeply involved in a practice of ANY sort myself while helping others do so! Although, I knew my passion was, and is, helping others, I was ignoring what I needed for complete fulfillment and a life of abundance. My life had been in upheaval for the past few years, I was feeling less and less of any type of connection with the divine, my family and the world in general, and it was all taking a toll on my mental and physical health!

So, I began doing some true soul searching…and thus, began the true journey to becoming an abundant woman while still helping others along the way.  I am a sensitive, or empath; although I have not tried to intentionally practice or enhance that gift, as each time I opened myself, I would inevitably absorb negative energies of those around me. This is something on which I am making progress.  I am also, now, a Certified Advanced Law of Attraction Practitioner.  Yes, I have actually started to practice what I preach!

I am so looking forward to helping others in their quest toward enlightenment and abundance as I do so for myself!  Instead of just reading, I will be researching different aspects of spirituality, abundance, and even touch on physical and mental health, and achieving the best of them all through the Law of Attraction,  and will leave comments and my assessments on them to help us all in our quest for abundance.

I hope you’ll join me in this journey while we cuss and discuss the ways and means to fulfillment and true abundance; and please leave your comments along the way.

I am happy to  read and respond to your questions and comments in the days, weeks and years to come.

To Your Abundance,
Margot

Melody, thank you so much. I hope you’ll return as I have so much more to add, although it will take some time. :-) As I’ve gone through other websites over the years, I’ve found so many other women in our situation. It is good to know we’re not alone on our journey toward enlightenment and abundance. I hope to see you here again! Margot

Margot, great to read about your journey and how it progressed through the years. I can feel your vibrations rising and was there myself just a couple of years ago. Long ago, I came to believe that all things are “a state of mind,” but often that is easier said than done. Like everything else, I suppose, even your thought process can improve with “practice” and being mindful of your own thoughts.

Things seldom happen overnight, but with vigilance and perseverance, all things are possible…ALL THINGS.

People too many times discount natural laws, failing to recognize their importance, and leaving their soul wanting and wandering for meaning and purpose. If the Universe/Christ Consciousness jerks you back into realizations about the true factors of life, you can feel assured that it is for a reason, and that NOTHING happens by “coincidence.” Rather, things are as they are meant to be…or are they? Only each person can decide that within themselves. And only each person can act upon (or choose to NOT act upon) the table that is set before them…which is called a person’s LIFE. Life is a sinuous path, a trail that one takes sometimes in the brightness of sunlight, and other times in the blackness of night. Sometimes we stay on the path, and other times we veer from it.

    “Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”

Ask yourself, have you learned the lessons that were meant to be imparted to you? Are you planted firmly in your beliefs or are you open to the lessons you were brought here to learn? I think we should all come to see that sometimes being “planted” isn’t always a good growing situation and other times it is. Find your power, stand in your truth, and if you’re not sure what that is…FIND IT!….

“All who wander are not lost.”

    Namaste, my friends

“The Road Not Taken” By Robert Frost

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
    To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
    Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
    Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Skye, thank you for sharing! What an excellent poem with which to impress the importance of finding your path and following it. It’s taken many years for me to learn the importance of this on our journey of growth toward enlightenment. So often, we as humans, allow life to happen to us instead of attempting to attain the life we want while serving the purpose we were each brought to this earth to achieve. I do hope you’ll return to share more of your thoughts and insights, which are thought provoking and inspiring.

Wishing you blessings and the best for your world.

I remember reading that poem in my 4th grade class, and it still remains my favorite one.. always wondering about that road less traveled…. and also wondering about the path I didn’t choose.

Of course, with everyone, it’s always a journey on the path they choose, hoping for the destination they want.. but it is the journey that truly defines a person.

This site has an awesome start!

The root of your writing while sounding agreeable originally, did not sit properly with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unnoatufrtely only for a while. I still have a problem with your jumps in logic and you might do nicely to help fill in all those breaks. In the event you actually can accomplish that, I could definitely be fascinated.

Hi Debbi. Thanks so much for visiting! I’ve been quiet for a few days as I recover from injuries caused by my clumsiness! HAHA!! I look forward to your return and input.

    Hi Margot,
I found your true life experience on using the law of attraction very encouraging. Looking back in my life, I have achieved some of my goals using the law of attraction albeit without my knowledge.I am an avid reader and I will consider buying a kindle to manage my book stash and to buy some of the books that you recommend.

Hey Brad, I can certainly understand your thoughts on the Kindle. It’s been a real benefit in my life when it comes to reading! I have so many beneficial books stored on mine and can take all these books with me wherever I go! I would encourage anyone to have this with them at all times. It doesn’t matter what book you want to read, they are all with you at all times!

Hi Brad, I would certainly encourage everyone to have a Kindle. It’s a great asset to have in order to carry around all the important books you wish to keep, which are also a lot less expensive than buying soft or hard cover books. I really enjoy the fact I have so many books at my option whenever and whichever I choose to read! It’s been a real joy to have!

Margot reminds us she is a regular human woman, just like us. She takes on an intermediate N+TC workout for her first vlog . . . we’re thinking beginner may have been more appropriate for someone who has never worked out, however she surprised us with how good she was at some of the moves. Go Margot!
